LHH is seeking an Order Entry Coordinator for a Manufacturing firm in Duluth, GA. The primary role entails accurately inputting orders received via fax, internet, or mail for materials and merchandise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Input data from customer-generated purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers and shipping instructions.
Review orders for pricing and product specifications, making necessary corrections.
Notify customers of unit prices and shipping dates through fax or email confirmations.
Prepare order forms manually or digitally to calculate total costs for customers.
Organize and maintain copies of orders chronologically.
Direct orders to Customer Service Representatives as needed.
Compile statistical data and generate reports for managerial review.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in working within a fast-paced, high-volume environment with meticulous attention to detail.
Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
High energy levels and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; 2-3 years of experience in data entry or a related field preferred.
