Job Description:

LHH is seeking an Order Entry Coordinator for a Manufacturing firm in Duluth, GA. The primary role entails accurately inputting orders received via fax, internet, or mail for materials and merchandise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Input data from customer-generated purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers and shipping instructions.
  • Review orders for pricing and product specifications, making necessary corrections.
  • Notify customers of unit prices and shipping dates through fax or email confirmations.
  • Prepare order forms manually or digitally to calculate total costs for customers.
  • Organize and maintain copies of orders chronologically.
  • Direct orders to Customer Service Representatives as needed.
  • Compile statistical data and generate reports for managerial review.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in working within a fast-paced, high-volume environment with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
  • High energy levels and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; 2-3 years of experience in data entry or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an office clerk.
