The IT Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the procurement of hardware & software. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintain inventory levels necessary to fulfill equipment requests on material shipped from the corporate office to end-users
Responsible for the procurement of software, maintenance of licensing information and inventory of software media
Update inventory system with new product part number and descriptions for issuance of purchase orders
Track order status with vendors and provides status to customers on outstanding requests. Work directly with shipping and receiving on order issues and changes
Issue Purchase Order and Lease Equipment Order requests from other team members and departments
Qualifications:
2-3 years of related experience ordering IT hardware & software
Experience managing software licenses
Ticketing system experience is required; JD Edwards experience a plus
Associate degree in Supply Chain Management a plus
Must have strong time management, interpersonal, & communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to work overtime
