Education - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science or related field.
Experience - Five years of experience in database management, systems maintenance, and network engineering. Skills - High level of working knowledge of networks, architecture, best practices for systems, design, and implementation.
Work Environment - Remote work with prior approval required for location of Home Office.
DUTIES: Maintain the RISSNET systems. Design, install, configure, and upgrade devices, including cloud, servers, and appliances for the RISS enterprise. Configure and maintain infrastructure, including servers. Integrate software solutions within the existing environment while assuring continuity of services. Monitor RISSNET security and performance. Provide administration and purchasing services for infrastructure. Work with partners to ensure connectivity to all resources. Oversee and develop systems documentation. Collaborate with RISS Center information technology (IT) and help desk staff to assist with and troubleshoot complex technical issues and to provide infrastructure access, code examples, and web-based solutions to meet IT best practices and RISS infrastructure requirements. Assist in accomplishing the goals and objectives of RISS and any other duties or projects assigned by the RISS Chief Technology Officer.

Candidate must pass CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) background requirements. ROCIC is a federally funded organization of criminal justice agencies in the southern United States working together to combat multi-jurisdictional criminal activities.
