Juno's Liquor is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Buyer to join our dynamic team. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in driving our purchasing strategy and ensuring that our store shelves are always stocked with the highest-quality products at competitive prices.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Negotiation: Identify and source new products from suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to maximize purchase discounts.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand, and place timely orders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure exclusive deals, negotiate better pricing, and ensure timely deliveries.
Private Label Development: Collaborate with suppliers to develop and source private label products that align with our brand identity and customer preferences.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the retail or beverage industry. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A passion for the beverage industry and a deep understanding of product categories.
