About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Architect specializing in Forecast to Produce (F2P) for a leading client of Thinking Minds Inc. This position involves architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements while ensuring integrity from the design phase through implementation. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure SAP solutions in the F2P area meet business objectives, adhere to SAP best practices, and provide a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design: Architect and design SAP solutions within the Forecast to Produce (F2P) domain, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and design solutions that align with strategic objectives.
Systems Integration: Ensure high levels of system integration, focusing on the seamless interaction between F2P processes and other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, PP, PM, EAM, QM, MRP).
Project Oversight: Lead and provide direction to project teams and external partners to ensure SAP solutions are implemented effectively and on schedule.
Demand Prioritization: Assist in prioritizing business demand within the F2P space, ensuring that project deliverables align with overall organizational goals.
Development Oversight: Oversee development work to ensure solutions meet the documented business requirements, and validate all proposed development estimates.
Testing & Validation: Define, execute, and review test plans to ensure solutions meet intended business needs and are functioning properly.
Incident Management: Provide assistance with escalated incidents as needed, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP functional solution design, specifically within the Forecast to Produce (F2P) or similar areas.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
SAP Expertise: Proficiency with SAP applications, particularly S/4HANA, ECC, and related modules (PP, PM, EAM, QM, MRP), is essential. Experience with SAP development estimation and best practices is also required.
Technical Leadership: Proven experience in leading SAP solution design and implementation, particularly in complex environments with a focus on unique business processes.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to present and explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Adept at developing creative solutions, addressing business challenges, and facilitating the resolution of complex issues.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, engaging with peers, management, and end-users.
Desired Skills:
Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, or related user experience tools would be an asset.
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
