About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Paid Media Senior Consultant to drive the performance media strategy for Small and Business Banking products, with a focus on paid search. This role sits on the paid media team within CSBB (Consumer, Small and Business Bank) Growth Marketing.

This role requires a deep understanding of paid search acquisition media, with hands-on-keyboard experience. The candidate is knowledgeable on Google search products and testing functionality (ex., D&E), as well as on technical components of an effective campaign (tagging; measurement; UTM parameters; conversion API/data feeds; etc.).

The candidate will work closely with our external media agency to develop and manage measurable, ROI-positive

search campaigns that meet annual business goals. This role also will partner with the cross-functional marketing team (SEO, analytics, business strategy leaders, creative) to share regular performance updates; create and revise forecasts/projections; drive investment decisions; and prepare presentations for senior leaders.

In this role, you will:
  • Be the SME on paid search for the Small and Business Banking marketing team, presenting and discussing ideas to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all levels of the organization
  • Own Small and Business Banking paid search, to deliver on annual account and ROI targets
  • Lead the strategy, projections, investment, and measurement of annual campaigns
  • Manage the agency partnership, collaborating on performance, testing, planning, approvals, etc.
  • Work closely with marketing analytics on forecasts and incrementality testing
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports using graphs and data to visualize results with actionable insights
  • Accelerate our paid search program by A/B testing new strategies, tactics, etc. with data-backed analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver on overall business goals
  • Support audit requirements to document controls, QA processes, and risk mitigation procedures
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of paid media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of hands-on paid search experience, preferably at an agency
  • Experience and deep understanding of ad tech: working in SA360; floodlight reporting; ad serving; A/B testing; activating 1st/3rd party data; tagging; etc.
  • Strong communication skills that convey complex subject matters in simple terms for leaders
  • Strong data analysis abilities, working with large data sets to extract actionable insights
  • Ability to identify and evaluate performance trends, isolate root causes, and provide recommendations
  • Creating management-level presentations
