- In this role you will coordinate the administration of Linde’s retirement benefit programs including projects resulting from regulatory changes and design changes requiring in-depth research and analysis for implementation and communication
- Manage compliance of the Retirement Savings Plan
Evaluate and recommends changes on retirement provisions and process improvements
- Develop and directs processes based on discussions with manager, external vendors, and legal counsel to ensure administrators follow procedures
- Monitor existing process documentation to ensure compliance with plan requirements, government regulations and vendor requirements and creates documentation for new initiatives
- You will work closely with accounting, legal, and others in the human resources department to ensure plans remain in compliance, including annual 5500 filings, audits, non-discrimination testing, SPDs, amendments, and plan documents
- Manage and respond to requests from auditors on all internal/external audits surrounding the Retirement Savings Plan.
- Assist legal counsel, actuaries, internal IT and record keepers in incorporating plan changes into administrative processes.
- Respond to retirement plan escalations received by Employee Services from all levels of employees assisting with their inquiries and or requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in design/deployment of employee communications related to the retirement programs
- Oversee the Retirement Savings Plan activities related to all acquisitions and divestitures
- Manage vendor contacts in regard to discussing data requirements, reporting, and trouble shooting
- Research and provides direction to vendors on complex employee calculations and situations
- You will be responsible for data integrity of retirement plans, conducting a monthly audit of the Retirement Panel on the HRIS system
- Maintain Union Benefit Matrix for Benefit Department – stays up to date on union negotiations and coordinates changes that may be needed as a result of negotiations
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a concentration in business, human resources or mathematics is preferred
- A minimum 3 years of experience in benefits or financial analysis required; 3-5 years of benefit regulation experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify recommended solutions
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality
- Advanced level Excel skills are required in this role (an excel evaluation will be given as part of the interview process)
- You have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
- Team player who works well with others, willing to help where needed
