Job Description:

Position Summary
The Kitchen Associate I prepares edible cannabis batches for formation into finished products, including chocolate bars, drops, and other consumable items. This entry-level position rotates between a limited number of functional areas.
Responsibilities & Duties

Follows instructions given by the manager.
Gathers, arranges, and sorts materials.
Processes materials into finished goods.
Performs quality control checks and ensures uniformity.
Packages finished goods in store-ready packaging.
Maintains accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches.
Produces the required quantity of product within established timeframes and specifications.

Maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports.
Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations.

Ensures the work area is kept in clean and safe condition.

Actively contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following applicable safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
Behaves in a positive, productive, cooperative manner, and encourages teamwork.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working in production, manufacturing, or food service preferred.
Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

Physical Requirements

Frequent repetitive hand motion
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, including hot and cold items.
Ability to push and pull.
Manual dexterity is needed for manipulating food items and tools.
Visual acuity is needed to accurately read small screens and labels.

Workplace Environment

Kitchen/production facility environment with environmental controls
Consistent moderate background noise level due to machinery and HVAC
Exposure to cannabis odor
