Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated individual to support the Technical Inspector/Tire Warranty Technician.

The role includes a variety of tasks, such as:

• 
  Loading and Unloading Warranty Tires: Operate a forklift or perform manual labor to handle warranty tires.


• 
  Scrap Tire Processing: Efficiently cut, move, and dispose of scrap tires.


• 
  Material Handling: Oversee the organization and storage of materials within the facility.


• 
  Technical Support: Assist the Technical Inspector/Tire Warranty Technician with various tasks as needed.


• 
  C.A.P. Center Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the QA C.A.P. center.


• 
  Lumping: Carry out additional manual labor duties related to tire handling and processing.

Work Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Preferred: Automotive and/or Tire Technician Training, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and database applications used for reporting.


• Must be forklift certified and capable of operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, sit-down, and stand-up).


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.


• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, with basic mathematical skills.


• Strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to work independently.

Physical Demands:

• Requires walking, standing, sitting, hearing, seeing, moving, driving, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.


• May involve walking primarily on level surfaces, reaching above shoulder height, and bending below the waist.

Work Environment:

• Primarily in an office environment with controlled air and mild temperatures.


• Regularly required to work in a typical warehouse environment with moving forklifts, propane or electric power, and a strong smell of tires.


• May be exposed to extreme weather conditions during external testing, event support, and survey activities involving vehicles and test equipment.
