Duties & Responsibilities:

Optical and Electrical Engineering Intern:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will work on a product development team to help bring a product to market


• You will assist with the various stages of the product development process such as design, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and fixturing of electrical and optical assemblies


• You will work closely with other engineers to create market leading solutions for Fiber Test equipment


• You will assist other engineers as needed to support maintenance of legacy products

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Preferred Pre-Requisites / Skills:

• Undergraduate education toward a degree in OE, or EE with OE focus


• Python Script experience


• Knowledge of fundamental optical engineering concepts, practices, and procedures


• Knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering concepts, practices, and procedures


• Familiarity with the use of common lab equipment (e.g. lasers, oscilloscopes, meters)


• Familiarity with schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g. spice).
