A Day in the Life
This position involves performing intermediate tasks that require sound judgment and decision-making within manufacturing, production, or distribution environments. While many of the tasks are routine, they are essential to maintaining efficient operations. Responsibilities include providing support in areas such as assembly, machinery operation, processing, packaging, and product distribution. The role may also involve setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines in continuous production or processing environments. Additionally, the position requires identifying and reporting any machine malfunctions or irregularities, with senior staff overseeing necessary adjustments to processes. The role may extend to shipping, receiving, inventory management, and product storage in distribution centers.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws.

  • May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines.

  • Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.

  • Some machines may be numerically controlled.

  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Requires minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

  • May require vocational training and/or certification.

Nice to Have

  • Vocational or technical certification is preferred

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$39,600 - $59,400

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
