A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.

  • Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

  • Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

  • Uses hand and power tools.

  • Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

  • Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

Minimum Requirements:


  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience

  • Requires advanced knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.

Nice to Have:


  • Understand regulated environment specifications, how they are operated/maintained.

  • Analytical thought process, ability to evaluate options, make decisions.

  • Maintenance project experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Thorough understanding of all systems and processes related to the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

  • Computer skills to include building automation systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office products.

  • EPA refrigeration "universal certification"

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.

  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) (preferred)

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

  • Must have working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$65,200.00 - $97,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
