About the Role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer with expertise in software development and Cloud technologies. Here is your opportunity to work on a product with a huge role in this organization’s charter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a focus on building scalable, responsive user interfaces and deploying on Cloud platform. You will be reporting to a Technology Solutions manager and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software applications.

You Will:


  • Design and develops secured software applications of moderate complexity.

  • Highly skilled in refactoring, improves code base continually.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

  • Implement and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for automated deployment.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications

  • Assist with project planning by thoroughly identifying the tasks required for project deliverables.

  • Has experience working in a team using Agile methodology.

You Have:


  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information's systems, or a related field.

  • 7+ years proficiency in developing front-end applications using Angular.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in Java and J2EE programming , developing webservices.

  • Experience with Spring Framework stack, MVC, UI frameworks

  • Experience working with cloud services (AWS)

  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices

  • Knowledge of version control systems.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and serverless computing

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely.  For this specific role, 2-3 days per week of work can be conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
