Career Opportunity:



Silgan Dispensing Systems is searching for a Coiler Mechanic to conduct Compression Spring setups and monitors and adjust machines as needed. This position is responsible for machine repair and maintenance, including preventive and light electrical. This is an exciting opportunity at our Washington Court House, OH spring plant.

Compression Spring setups on Torin, Samuels and Victory Machines.

• Monitor equipment and adjust machines as needed and test gages.


• Repair and maintain equipment, including replacing worn parts and monthly PM's on machines.


• Light electrical: trouble shoot blown fuses, replace controllers and heating elements.


• Quality control.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Experience on Compression Spring setups on Torin, Samuels and Victory Machines is required.


• Ability to adjust machines and test gages.


• Familiarization with repairing and maintaining equipment including replacing worn parts and Monthly PM.


• Knowledge of light electrical work, including ability to trouble shoot blown fuses, replace controllers, and heating elements.


• Ability to conduct quality checks on springs using digital calipers and chart results.

Position Details:

• 2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)


• Monday - Friday


• Insurance available after 30 days
