Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java PHP Developer in Irvine, CA.

Duties:

• Java PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain PHP and enterprise Java applications


• Ensure performance, security, quality, and responsiveness of applications


• As a Java PHP Developer, you will troubleshoot and remediate defects


• Provide ongoing production support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science


• 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise web applications in PHP


• Experience in developing Java applications, preferably using Spring Framework


• Experience in managing dependencies with Composer


• Experience with MySQL database design and management


• Solid knowledge of unit testing, backed with experience (PHPUnit, jUnit)


• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)


• Strong understanding of back-end development


• Strong proficiency in PHP, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Angular is a plus


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Experience with AWS services such as Fargate, ECR, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and Lambda functions


• Experience with agile development methodologies (Kanban)


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
