Position Overview: The Controller will oversee financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain internal controls. Experience with accounting software such as MS Dynamics or Great Plains is advantageous but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to protect company assets.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial performance and business objectives.
- Supervise and support accounting staff.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Experience with MS Dynamics or Great Plains is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
