Quality Inspector (1st and 2nd Shifts) DIRECT HIRE in Canton MA




Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (1st Shift)


3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (2nd Shift)



Pay Rate: 1st shift - $18.27-$21.64


2nd shift - $19.75 - $23.15



Duties:

• Conduct material inspections at receiving, in-process, and final release stages to ensure compliance with product specifications.


• Keep accurate records of all inspections and testing activities.


• Generate reports for non-conforming materials upon identification.


• Verify manufacturing operations and review logbooks during production.


• Monitor and maintain temperature records for designated areas.


• Oversee the QA quarantine area and manage material documentation.


• Handle small, delicate parts during inspections with care to avoid damage.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED required or may substitute 3 years of experience for educational requirements.


• Ability to read, write and speak English.


• Basic math required, addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisions.


• Ability to assess procedures and specifications against data being gathered on the job for compliance with requirements.
