Job Description:

About the Role:

The Timekeeper manages on-site timekeeping responsibilities for projects as well as track and report on project financials; delivering organized and accurate results to drive reliable project financials. Recording of all required submittals using TRACK software and/or other customer systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Tracking costs (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors)
  • Tracking time and submitting daily timesheets for labor on jobsites.
  • Time entry into Taurus time capture software, Viewpoint.
  • Inputting data into customer-specific databases such as Track.
  • Coordinating weekly payroll hours with paychecks
  • Interacting with Supervision, Field Employees, Office Staff and Customers
  • Tracking labor and supplying data for input to a database
  • Developing invoices from labor, material and equipment timesheets
  • Provides support to Project Managers and Project Controls team.
  • Prepare various cost and forecasting report
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, or equivalent required. TRACK System or equivalent timekeeping system, experience preferred. Vista / Viewpoint experience preferred. Experience in Gas, Oil, Power, or Steel industry preferred. Demonstrated ability to navigate ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe).

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - a constant interaction with the operations team, customers, and sales team.

  • Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task.
  • Working under pressure - ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations and to adapt to changing priorities in fast paced environment.
  • Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
  • Some local travel for projects possible

Preferred Skills:
  • TRACK System or equivalent timekeeping system, experience preferred.

Pay range and compensation package:

Commensurated with experience.
