Job Description:

Action Group Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager for a manufacturing facility in Tulsa.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning management for large-scale industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
  • Proven expertise in commissioning processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to integrate commissioning activities into the overall project plan.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate commissioning risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing and construction industries.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly solar energy, is a plus.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and travel as required.

Responsibilities:

The Commissioning Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee all commissioning activities to ensure the new facility's successful startup and operational readiness. This role requires an expert in commissioning processes with extensive experience in large-scale industrial or manufacturing construction projects.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans for the project, covering all systems and equipment from installation to operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all commissioning activities are integrated into the overall project timeline.
  • Oversee the commissioning process, including the testing, validation, and documentation of all systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during commissioning activities.
  • Prepare and present regular commissioning status updates and reports to the US Construction Manager and other senior management.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the commissioning process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential commissioning risks.
  • Lead commissioning meetings and facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on commissioning objectives and progress.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to commissioning team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition from commissioning to full operational status.
