Job Summary | This position is located at West Kentucky 4-H Camp in Dawson Springs, KY. Supervises the Maintenance Supervisor and evaluates facilities to set maintenance priorities and work plans. Works together with the Principal Specialist in charge of camping programs to evaluate and prioritize all major repairs. Responsible for exploring and pursing opportunities for increasing Camp revenue. Develop and maintain list of current and potential rental groups; develop marketing materials to increase camp usage by Extension and Non-Extension groups. Responsible for direct supervision of 3 full-time and up to as many as 30+ temporary, part-time camp season employees. Responsible for hiring, training, and employee issues for all camp employees. Establish and implement work plans to ensure daily operational needs are met. Conduct annual evaluations and initiate corrective actions as needed. Responsible for the day to day management of the camp budget. |
