As a Project Manager specializing in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-driven projects within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure that all project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing complex ICT projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for successful completion of projects
Oversee mass-fusion and single fiber splice planning
Review (OTDR) Optical Time Domian Reflectometer and Power Meter levels to ensure all test results were within customer specification
Experience working with Fluke and EXFO products and software is a plus
Work with fiber optics (single mode and multi-mode), ethernet cables, patching solutions, technology related installations that include termination, splicing certification, network design and rack configuration
Adept with ST, FC, LC, MT-RJ and MPO fiber optic connectors, pig-tailed assemblies, and pre-terminated fiber cable
Designed, procured, and installed LAN (local area networks, (WLAN) wireless local area networks, (DAS) distributed antenna systems, (FTTX) fiber to the premises/home/building and Data Centers
Oversee installation of general contractors and their sub-contractors for all new buildouts
Understand fast-tracking and design building construction
Work directly with property owners, tenant and building management to create a good working relationship
Work with project and partner teams to identify priorities and provide technical guidance to achieve allegiant across various buildouts
Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and propose solution to optimize performance
Oversee multiple crews, onsite buildouts, infrastructure, and hardware upgrades
Understand the RFI (Request for information) and submittal processes in construction
Experience working with Procore and BIM 360 is plus
Professional Qualifications
Experience with Structured Cabling
Experience with Fiber optic splicing and testing
Experience with Copper terminating and testing
Knowledge of Patch panel management
Knowledge of Server rack and stack
Cable management knowledge
Troubleshooting common telecom issues
Vendor Management experience
Rack elevations and details to include space planning
Video Surveillance and PIDS
Grounding and bonding of floor and rack systems
Experience with vendor management, client relations
Project Scheduling and Budget management experience
