Interface Analyst at Vaco in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description:

Vaco is hiring an Interface Analyst for a full time, remote opportunity with our healthcare client.

Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central standard time zones.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the administration, development, and management of interface resources to ensure quality, availability, stability, security and recoverability.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 experience specializing in interface development or computer programming, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email products, strong problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The Interface Analyst will develop enterprise interfaces utilizing file-transfer, network transfer and HL7 technologies to link disparate systems throughout the enterprise.
• Responsible for coordination of development with vendors, project managers, end users and other Information Systems staff to achieve the highest level of integration possible. Maintain and follow documented programming standards, disaster recovery procedures and performance monitoring guidelines.
• Create/maintain overall interface environment documentation.
• The Interface Analyst is responsible for the DCH ITIL change management processes to ensure proper testing and data validations.
• Full knowledge of the DCH ITIL processes and following established IS policies and procedures is needed.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

• REQUIRED - Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
• PREFERRED: EPIC Bridges Certification, Corepoint Certification, or other Interface Engine Certification
