Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proficient Senior Project Scheduler/Planner to join our dynamic Project team. This role is essential for supporting both our engineering and project teams through the planning and scheduling of projects across various phases. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) industry, demonstrating a robust capability in managing complex schedules and ensuring project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, covering all project phases from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) through detailed engineering, construction, and close-out.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to identify project requirements, constraints, and deadlines to develop realistic project plans.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of engineering and construction sequences to create accurate and logical project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying variances and potential delays.
  • Prepare and distribute regular schedule progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting critical paths, key milestones, and potential risks.
  • Facilitate planning sessions and schedule reviews with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any potential schedule impacts.
  • Identify and assess schedule risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential delays.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis to evaluate the impact of potential changes and uncertainties on project timelines.
  • Integrate multiple project schedules into a master schedule to provide a comprehensive view of resources, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Provide expert advice on scheduling strategies and best practices to optimize project execution and delivery.
  • Weekly & Monthly progress report update covering Engineering, Procurement & Construction update
  • Support the project team with ad-hoc scheduling and planning needs, ensuring the application of industry best practices in schedule management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in project management or planning (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling and planning within the water / process or oil & gas industries.
  • Strong background in the EPCM industry, with a proven track record of supporting engineering and project teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in using project management software, specifically MS Project and Primavera, for complex project scheduling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
  • Strong MS Project & Primavera experience
