? Design of complex components and packaging related to the compressor
? Initial layout and sizing
? Detailed design and fabrication specifications
? Preparing production drawings, with appropriate GD & T
? Direct communication with vendors and technicians in manufacturing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? B.S in mechanical engineering
? 5+ years of demonstrated mechanical design engineering experience, preferably 'full-stack' with exposure to first principal driven design, equipment/component selection, hands-on builds, bring-up and troubleshooting, test design
? Proficiency with modeling in Catia 3D Experience Environment
? Experience with compressor development
? Excellent problem solving and communication skills
? Strong analytical background
? Catia 3D experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
??? M.S. in mechanical engineering
? 8+ years of Aviation or Automotive industry experience
? Strong fundamentals in fluid flow
? Experience with instrumentation selection/procurement and data acquisition
? Electrical enclosure design experience?
