Client Company specializes in Manufacture of Electronics. They have a global supply chain, purchasing Raw Materials, Finished Goods and MRO. They are looking to have their newest team member join their Supply Chain Team as a Senior Buyer.

They need a Senior Buyer with a background in Purchasing to join their successful and expanding team.
Responsibilities:
Manage supply chain purchasing Raw Materials, MRO, and finished components - while managing 2-3 buyers in the supply chain team.
Conduct supplier negotiations on cost, delivery, terms and facilitate supplier / vendor meetings on topics of price, quality, delivery.
Track supply chain performance using tools such as supplier scorecards while focusing on ocus on cost savings initiatives through value analysis, long-term purchase / supply agreements, and competitive supply chain benchmarking.
Interact with other departments - production control, manufacturing operations, quality, engineering etc.
Requirements:
5-10 years experience as a buyer, category manager, or purchasing manager.
Knowledge / experience with RFQ's and or negotiation experience in Price, Cost, Delivery, Quality...and general experience in structuring of purchasing agreements
Familiarity with fostering vendor/supplier relationships - creating a win-win approach
Exceptional communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
