Job Description:

Brunel has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager Quality for direct hire with our client based in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively Lead and champion Quality principles and framework into project execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the Project Quality Strategy is defined, documented, agreed, and implemented.
  • Develop and implement an appropriate Project Quality Plan in support of the Project Quality Strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Global Projects Quality function to ensure alignment, support and resources are appropriately deployed in support of project delivery and requirements.
  • Monitor deliverable and activity progress to support effective project execution in line with schedule, cost estimates and change management processes.
  • Actively set Quality expectations and requirements applicable to bid/tender packages, contracts, and purchase orders, applicable to the associated scope of work and/or supply.
  • Actively engage with Contractors and suppliers to ensure a Quality mutual beneficial relationship.
  • Identify, review and acceptance of Contractor and Supplier Quality Deliverables.
  • Facilitate Project inductions and training in quality systems and processes to new and existing staff.
  • Ensure that the Project Quality Documentation is rolled out in support of project specific requirements.

Experience
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a role of Quality Management
  • Experience providing quality management throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start up. i.e., Owner Operator, EPC, EPCM, EPCI
  • Experience with risk-based Quality assessment.
  • Experience working with OEM providers.
  • High level written skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of passion for renewable energy.
  • Proven ability for credible and authentic engagement with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering or significant Quality Management experience in major and/or mega projects
  • MBA or master's degree
