Job Description:

Action Group Staffing is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a manufacturing facility in Tulsa.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
  • Proven expertise in project scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing and construction industries.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly solar energy, is a plus.
  • PMP-SP (Project Management Professional - Scheduling Professional) certification or equivalent project planning certification is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and travel as required.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Planner will play a critical role in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring the project progresses smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills, expertise in project planning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather project information and integrate it into the master schedule.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions to mitigate schedule risks.
  • Prepare and present regular schedule updates and reports to the Project Director and other senior management.
  • Conduct schedule risk analyses and develop contingency plans to address potential project disruptions.
  • Ensure that all project activities are planned and executed in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize project management software and tools to manage project schedules and generate detailed reports and analyses.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, integrating procurement schedules into the overall project timeline.
  • Lead schedule review meetings and facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project planning staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
