Records Intake & Cataloging: Verify accuracy of records, ensuring they are properly boxed, labeled, indexed, and logged using our records management system (Insight).
Records Retrieval & Delivery: Retrieve and deliver physical records upon request from various departments, ensuring proper handling and maintaining the integrity of records.
System Management: Operate Insight for electronic records management; familiarity with transitioning to other systems such as Microsoft Purview is a plus.
Records Center Maintenance: Maintain the organization and security of the records center, ensuring proper filing and storage.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Records Coordinator and other departments as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with the remote Records Coordinator, following their guidance for managing records and handling ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Library or Information Sciences is preferred but not required.
Equivalent work experience in records management or library sciences will be considered.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in records management, with a focus on filing and organization.
Familiarity with records management software (Insight) is highly preferred. Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar systems is a plus.
