This position supports BCG North America's Travel & Expense functions, maintaining processes and controls centered around expenses submitted through BCG's expense system, airfares booked through American Express Business Travel Account (BTA) cards, and rideshare charged to BCG's centralized account.
As a member of the Card Administration, Analytics and Fraud Prevention team, you will work closely with Finance Leadership and other Finance teams in BCG across the US and Canada to deliver reliable reporting and analytics of travel and expenses for employees. Through a detailed understanding of the data and BCG policies, the analyst should identify trends and provide recommendations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain aspects of the audit processes for expenses submitted via centralized systems (data analysis, reporting, weekly/monthly audit, process improvement, and fraud prevention)
Perform travel and expense audits/investigations with high-level proficiency including expense report review, exception follow-up, and periodic communication with local offices and senior stakeholders
Maintain quarterly, monthly, and weekly analytics to identify outliers and other trends, and notify stakeholders with recommendations
Understand BCG's policies and procedures to flag exceptions and recommend alternative actions
Build and recommend additional analytics to support business needs
Provide risk analysis with a strong attention to detail and present findings to senior stakeholders
Prepare time sensitive ad-hoc requests which may require collaboration across functions
Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Promote cooperation and foster teamwork to accomplish targeted deadlines

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or relevant business field), with 2 years of relevant work experience with analysis, reporting, and/or audit
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Business Objects or similar data query tool experience
Alteryx or similar data analysis tool experience
Tableau or similar data visualization tool experience
Proficient in Power Automate and other automation tools
Familiar with AI process enablement
