Compensation Range: $22 - $25 per hour based on experience

Position Summary

This role prioritizes exceeding both customer and company expectations in delivering exceptional customer service. It emphasizes quality and efficiency in scheduling deliveries to meet customer needs while optimizing operational capabilities. This role processes and coordinates the phone sales and distribution of concrete for multiple plants and vendors. All job offers are contingent on pre employment drug screen and background check results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Required Tasks

• Must provide excellent customer service by phone and in person
• Answer phones in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate all pertinent dispatch activities to the appropriate individual, customer, or driver
• Work in an office environment alone or with others receiving calls and orders
• Maintain high degree of accuracy in information entry
• Ensure all orders are complete and accurate in detail
• React quickly to unforeseen changes in scheduling requirements
• Coordinate activities of workers engaged in manufacturing concrete and delivering ready mix related products
• Confer with Dispatch Manager to establish delivery schedules according t truck utilization, job site location and job requirements.
• Receives cash and check payments as needed as well as charge sales
• Maintains radio contact with drivers and dispatch to expedite delivery and safety
• 5S project as required
• Admin projects as required including shredding paper
• Any other company related duties as required
• This is a 40-hour per week position
• Learn and be knowledgeable of the different mix designs

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word).
