The Securitas Technology Sustainability Officer reports to the Senior Vice President Performance Excellences, Global ES Finance who is part of the Securitas Technology executive leadership team.



Primary responsibilities include:



  • Drive the execution of Securitas Technology's sustainability strategy globally.

  • Ensure that roadmaps and action plans are in place in the countries/business units and central functions aligned with the Securitas Group Sustainability strategy.

  • Establish structures and processes to following up on the execution of roadmaps and action plans and report on status to Securitas Technology executive leadership and Securitas Group Sustainability.

  • Be a key-contributor in the group-wide Sustainability team, including in more specialized groups, and support in the joint work to advance our sustainability efforts and focus areas as ONE Securitas. Facilitate collaboration and share information and best practices.

  • Be the first point of contact for clients and supplier facing teams in relation to, for example, sustainability questions or requirements in RFPs or sustainability partnerships. Work with commercial teams to market Securitas' sustainability efforts with clients.

  • Work closely with the country sustainability reporting specialist to ensure that (i) sound reporting standards and processes are in place, (ii) data quality is high, and (iii) data is analyzed and used in decision making and to follow-up on strategy execution.

  • Provide guidance and strategic support to align and drive business functions in the reporting of CSRD (corporate sustainability reporting directive).

  • Educate, analyze, and find effective solutions together with the business and central functions, for example for social impact, carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste reduction and sustainability governance.

  • Ensure that relevant stakeholder in the division has sufficient information to be able to comply with relevant sustainability regulations, guidelines and industry standards and conduct risk-based compliance oversight/assurance.

  • Support countries with other questions/discussions with relevant external stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date and consider future trends, market requirements, regulations, and best practices and proactively recommend solutions.

  • Manage the core document register, including tracking the review and updating of policies and procedures; supporting the owners of the documents with their review; ensuring the documentation is submitted to the approving committee in good time; and working with relevant staff to ensure timely publication of approved documents.




Requirements



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG related areas and sustainability.

  • Passion for sustainability and for the business with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the environment and society, and the clear ambition to ensure the integration of sustainability in the core business.

  • Strategic execution skills and results oriented. Work in a structured way with clear plans and targets and focus on execution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire engagement and action in a regional organization and with external stakeholders (business-fluent English skills required)

  • High-level of integrity, be a team-player, creative and visionary.

  • Analytical skills, including the ability to both focus on details and see the larger picture, and ability to communicate insights effectively.

  • Knowledge of and interest in sustainability reporting regulations and frameworks.

  • BS Degree in Sustainability recommended
