Purpose:
Provide direct care and services to our residents ("neighbors").
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and document accordingly.
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.) as outlined in care plans.
- Provide emotional, mental, and physical support.
- Maintain neighbor dignity and privacy.
- Coordinate medical appointments and transportation.
- Report changes in neighbors' conditions.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and staff as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
- Follow HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, and QMAP certifications preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs (up to 250 lbs with assistance).
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
Work Hours:
8-12 hour shifts, including holidays and weekends.
