Position Overview:
This position assists in the companys Maintenance and Repair operations, which includes ensuring company assets are operating in a safe manner, maintained in excellent condition, and all repairs are managed timely and efficiently.

Position Expectations:
Work cooperatively with Port Engineer(s) to assist in carrying out the maintenance program for engineering aspects of assigned vessels, prioritizing the safety and well being of company assets and employees Assist in the repair process of assigned vessel engines and related marine auxiliary systems in a safe, timely, and accurate manner Assist with assigned vessel drydocks, working to minimize delays and disruptions to projected schedules Assist with inventory management, ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and stocked to meet demands Maintain and continuously improve knowledge of maritime industry and engine room systems Cooperatively work with other ENB teams when processes and procedures overlap

Position Preview:

Review open work orders daily Keep Port Engineer and Maintenance and Repair Manager informed on assigned tasks Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs to systems. Complete required documentation related to service work Perform inspectionsWork independently and in a team environment

Required Experience:
Previous experience in maritime industryPrevious experience in maintaining and/or repairing vessel engines (or similar equipment)Previous experience with use and general knowledge of hand tools
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of marine engineering systems such as: electrical auxiliary systems, HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic systems, hydraulics and Z-drive units, and diesel engines

This position works outdoors in the elements and on water vessels and may be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment.
This position may be required to routinely lift up to 50lbs, walk up and down stairs and maneuver in tight spaces.This position requires regular local travel.
Generally, this position works Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. This position will occasionally require additional work hours in evenings and on weekends to meet demands and in the case of emergencies.
