Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time Temporary basis working Thursday and Friday 9A to 6P, providing support at our Colusa health clinic location. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for offering comprehensive front and back-office assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of our healthcare facilities. This temporary job opportunity is expected to last 4 to 5 months beginning October, 2024.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare providers. Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information. Assist with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing. Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques. Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and referrals.
