Job Description

Bose Corporation is a leading innovator in the field of audio and noise control and is successfully extending their market leadership into these areas. Bose seeks new electrical engineering talent through a 6-month co-op program during the Spring of 2025. Bose hopes to inspire people to consider Bose as a permanent place employment after they complete university.

The tool infrastructure engineering team is looking for an advanced development (A/D) electrical engineering co-op with a strong interest in working on audio architectures and systems. The engineer will be working on aspects of Bose consumer and automotive sound systems for rapid prototyping purposes. The engineering co-op will be working on an audio tuning tool related electrical engineering project. You will work together with electrical, software, mechanical and system A/D engineers in a close-knit team. The A/D team requires a hands-on personality.

The co-op program will focus on the development equipment that is used to perform acoustic research which are referred to as 'tools' in this requisition. You will work on the design of a professional grade analog -to-digital converter. You will be exposed to schematic development, PCB layout development, electrical simulation skills and building hardware that you will test on the bench. The work will involve analog audio engineering and working with digital audio networks, such as A2B.

We are looking for a creative and inquisitive personality. We prefer a student who does not shy away from learning new skills as part of the work. You should be a student with a good intuition for how things work. It should be accompanied with decent mathematical skills.

Cultural fit is very important for our small team. You should have an outgoing personality that likes to collaborate with the peers in your team. You should be willing to network yourself inside and outside Bose Corporation. Passion drives you.

We prefer applicants that are working on acquiring a master's degree in electrical engineering.
