The LPS Electrical install position is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings.
Required Qualifications
Education: HS Diploma or equal
Travel: 90%
Work Schedule: 6 days a Week @ 10 hours a day. This may vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience with Power tools, forklift, & man-lift operations and their specific safety standards.
Ability to install and troubleshoot 480/120VAC & 24VDC systems
Experience with Electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment
Job Functions
Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code and Customer Specifications.
Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
Installs conduit systems, installation and terminations of field devices and control systems.
Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections.
Works as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision.
Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles.
Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Fortna, and customer-specific safety requirements along with immediately identifying, correcting, and/or reporting any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 30 Certified
First Aid, CPR Certification
Certification and Adherence of Electrical Safety Standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E)
Experience at reading & comprehending construction blueprints
Familiar with PLCs, VFDs, Servos, Motors, Control Panels, IO, etc.
Sorter and conveyance installations with maintenance experience
