Job Description:

At Morgan Olson, our customer service representatives play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. Successful candidates will have the communication and interpersonal skills needed to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner to maximize customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:


  • Manage a large volume of inbound calls, and emails, with efficiency.
  • Engage with customers in an inviting, friendly, and professional manner to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Accurately enter and process orders in a timely manner using company software.
  • Ability to look up part numbers using online catalogs.
  • Assists customers with order placement and issue resolution.
  • Track orders, shipments, and process returned goods requests.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Diligently follow-up on customer inquiries and resolve open issues.
  • Adhere to company policy by exceeding customer expectations.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities.
  • Adhere to quality policy by exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Cross communicates with other departments in Morgan Olson.
  • Support teammates and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Creative, hands-on problem solver.
  • Good follow-up capability.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and effective de-escalation skills.
  • Proficient ability to prioritize a fluctuating workload.
  • Friendly and professional phone skills.
  • Effective at de-escalating customer concerns.
  • Customer Service or prior Sales experience 2 years
  • MS Office products
  • Salesforce Software preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, bill of materials and analyze data.
  • Experience in order entry practices.
  • Excellent Telephone etiquette.
