A Day in the Life
Working as a Project Coordinator at Medtronic is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic team at a leading global healthcare company. Located at Villalba, PR you'll be part of a supportive team and report directly to Site Leader ensuring clear communication and guidance as you contribute to Medtronic's mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process.

  • Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables.

  • Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.

  • Gathers and compiles information for reports.

  • Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.

  • Key role organizing, managing and keeping administrative/clerical support to the Leadership Team on site.

  • Provides general administrative support including preparing communications and maintaining schedules.

  • Partner with Site Leadership driving administrative functions.

  • May manage various projects pertinent to the Administrative | Project Coordinator role.

  • Have to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.

  • Collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management and clients on a regular basis.

  • Must know how to keep yourself and others organized and determine which tasks are the most important in a given list.

  • Organization and prioritization are the core elements of the Project Coordinator responsibilities. Skills in the area of decision making, communication and collaboration, organizational skills and writing are essential to perform the role.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Requires expert knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.

  • Requires minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Requires broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
    Requires full job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry work environment as Project Coordinator role.

  • Able to lead daily office work environment working independently.

  • A resource with experience coordinating, planning, and supporting daily operational functions.

  • Effective communicator with employees at all levels.

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Publisher, Visio, Agile and BPCS System.

  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

  • Spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and writing are essential to a Project Coordinator role, who must be proficient in a variety of styles, from creative to professional to technical to education and more
