A Day in the Life
In this role, you will have responsibility for working with the Neuromodulation/Pelvic Health post market quality team to ensure compliance with issue investigation, field action, and product hold order requirements and documentation for initiation through closure. An ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of Medtronic's distribution methods, SAP, GSS, FactoryWorks, Excel, Agile, and MRCS.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:


  • Provides oversight for developing and maintaining quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.

  • Works directly with operating entities to provide process analysis oversight, continuing to enforce requirements and meet regulations.

  • Prepares reports and necessary documentation (ex FCA customer confirmation, PHO closure status, FCA/PHO bounding reports) and provides to applicable stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Facilitates uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of the company's mission globally.

  • Identifies manufacturing data as well as current product location information globally to support bounding and scoping for issue investigations, product hold orders, and field corrective actions

  • Ownership of OU FCA execution follow-up activities to ensure timely notification of consignees and robust documentation

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires a Baccalaureate degree

Minimum of 4 years of quality systems experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years experience.

Nice to Have


  • Medical device industry experience

  • Understanding of supply chain and distribution

  • Knowledge of systems including SAP, FactoryWorks, Agile, and Business Objects

  • Experience with PHO/FCA execution

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$86,400.00 - $129,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
