Job Description:



Job Purpose:


Our Sales Program Manager will be responsible for managing contract requirements and providing customer account lifecycle and project management support for assigned accounts across a designated business segment. This position will interact with the Sales team and customers while managing cost/pricing renewals, account performance analysis and metrics and documentation and program communication.



Job Responsibilities:


● Responsible for portfolio of customers - managing account contract and program parameters, compliance and documentation including: Terms and conditions updates, pricing renewals, customer program communication, incremental business on-boarding, program changes, and e-business projects.
● Manage a portfolio of business of up to $25,000,000.
● Serve as key contact for tactical account issues both external and internal, including some direct customer interfacing. Heavy interaction with internal Veritiv corporate depts.; Sales/Sales Mgmt, CS, Operations, Tax, Legal, Credit, Finance, etc.
● Manage account financial performance metrics to ensure maximum profitability, leveraging departmental price management process and tools.
● Develop customer visits or Sales meeting presentation strategy, utilizing tools such as QBR's, CBR reporting and Power Point presentations. Frequent participation and interaction on internal/external Conf. Calls, with Sales, Sales Mgmt., and field support teams.



Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:






  • Create, prepare and submit the necessary Contract reporting on a timely basis for monthly or quarterly periods. Responsible for all Contract administration fees to be submitted according to the Contract terms and conditions.




  • Participate in contract renewal negotiations with Corporate Accounts Manager




  • Communicate with suppliers on contract/rebate updates and resolution






Work Experience:


● 3-5 years of related experience of successful management or supervisory experience within a large or national organization strongly preferred.


● 3-5 years of related job experience.


● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.


● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.


● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.


● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.


● Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred.


● Knowledge of major ERP (enterprise resource planning) software applications such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.


● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.


● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).


● Strong planning and organization skills are required.













Education:


● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
