Our Business Analysts play a meaningful role at Blue Cross of Idaho, identifying and analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope and objectives for applications integrated with business processes/data and IT infrastructure.
This position will be at our Meridian, Idaho campus. You must reside in the Treasure Valley area in order to be considered for the role.
To be considered for this opportunity, you have the following:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Business Analyst
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Here's what your day may look like:
Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes
Research business requirements, develops detailed specifications, and validates the solutions with business partners
Communicate needs to the development team by translating business requirements
Lead and work with cross-functional teams to detail business requirements for critical business processes
Owns the development, with IT support, of tools, applications, reports, and analytics to enable strategic programs and metrics for the department
Troubleshoot technical issues and work through a resolution
Plan and executes business user acceptance testing and related test activities
