Job Description:

Centennial Post Acute in Anchorage is looking for a passionate and organized Director of Staff Development (DSD) to join our incredible team. If you're committed to leading effective training programs and maintaining the highest standards of care, this is the place for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead all in-service educational programs following applicable regulations.


• Assess facility education needs, create training plans, and report to the Administrator and Director of Nursing.


• Conduct orientation for new hires to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.


• Perform annual competency skills assessments for staff.


• Maintain up-to-date licensure and health records (Hepatitis B, TB) for all personnel.

Qualifications:

• Experience in staff development within a healthcare setting.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to manage education and training needs effectively.


• Must be an RN or LPN licensed in the state of Alaska.
