Job Description:

What you'll do:



• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, specifically pertaining to FMLA, OSHA, EEOC, immigration, DOL and ERISA


• Safety and Workers Compensation Program Management


• Point person for absences such as sick leave, FMLA and personal leaves. Advise plant manager of qualifying/non-qualifying leaves and communicate leave approval to payroll and production supervisors


• Assist in employee re

You'll need to have:



• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including: ADA, ADEA, FMLA, OSHA, worker's compensation, wage and hour law, hiring practice and EEO compliance


• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing


• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations


• Above average computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Experience with Workday and ISeries


• Experience in a union facility preferred
