The Town of Monterey seeks a qualified individual to serve as a part-time Administrative Assistant to work closely with the Selectboard, Town Administrator, and various boards and committees providing critical administrative support in the operations of the Town. Serves as Board Secretary preparing agendas, postings, packets, and minutes as well as general office administrative and accounts payable duties; processes permits issued by the Select Board, processes warrants and other related duties. The position is part-time, 14 hours per week $22/hour. Applicants will have flexible hours to accommodate attendance at evening meetings. Candidates must have good organizational and word processing skills.
