Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is searching for an Android Developer to join their team on a contract basis for 9 months. The ideal candidate will be actively building Android apps and preferably have hands-on experience with Azure IoT Hub. This role can sit remote in EST or Central time zones and will require up to monthly travel to their Summerville, SC office for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications for a specific tablet


• As an Android Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features


• Troubleshoot and fix bugs to improve application performance


• Integrate applications with Azure IoT Hub

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an Android App Developer


• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android


• Language expertise with Java and Kotlin


• Ability to travel to Summerville, SC for occasional in-person meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field


• Knowledge of cloud services and architecture


• Experience with Azure IoT Hub and other IoT platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
