Role reports to: Senior Manager, Site Materials Planner

Location: Fort Washington, PA

Travel %: 10%

Pay : $73,000 - $117,300

What you will do

Coordinates/executes the creation and change of specifications for products manufactured in the plant, for packaging materials or raw materials used by the plant and for all other basic data needed in the manufacturing plants (Vendors, BOMs, routings, bar codes, pallet structure, etc). Manages, develops and implements work processes related to the activity and interfaces with the plant functions to ensure accurate information supply. Aligns with Regional master data governance to ensure compliance to regional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provides accurate and complete supply planning parameters for system maintenance
• Reviews lead-times and MOQs with key stakeholders and recommend changes to the regional planning manager
• Gather the information from the requestors to create a new product specification (Regional Franchise, Regional or local Marketing, Packaging Development, Regional or Local QA, Regional NPI,...)
• Coordinate/execute the change of specifications for all other basic data needed in the manufacturing plants (Vendors, BOMs, routings, etc)
• Coordinate the gathering of required input data with the functions in the plant (eg. Production Planning, QA, Packaging, Engineering,...) and take the responsibility for complete and correct data inputs in regional material master systems and local plant systems
• Align with Regional master data governance to ensure compliance to regional standards and regulatory specifications
• Ensure participation in new product launch meetings to ensure data requirements are fulfilled
• Responsible for BOM data governance
• Plant Power User for Master Data
• Annual planning
• Change Control for Disco/Deactivate (site process owner)
• Change Control for Materials/Components (site process owner)
• Applies an understanding of the interdependencies between all planning-related parameters with an End to End perspective to facilitate and drive regular data reviews
• Understanding of change control process and systems
• Understanding of master data inter-dependencies and cause/effect on supply plan output and ERP function
• Demonstrates an understanding of the implications of incorrect master data on the outcomes of the production planning process
• Proposes master data solutions within the existing system design to meet changing business requirements

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 12 total years of experience.
• SAP Experience is required
• Ability to work out of Fort Washington, PA
