SARA is looking for a remarkably talented, motivated, and experienced Technical Recruiter to support activities out of our Colorado Springs, CO location. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow and learn supporting talented engineers, physicists, and technicians on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers.
Core Responsibilities:
Create, review, and post job requisitions, with the collaboration of hiring managers, in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Perform searches for qualified candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals
Review and screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills and inform applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions
Select qualified applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate
Act as point of contact for applicants regarding application, job, and company questions
Coordinate interview scheduling for Hiring Managers
Collect and maintain applicant files and ensure data accuracy
Facilitate background checks with third party vendors
May assist with HR-related tasks such as employment offers or conducting employee orientation
Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action guidelines and laws, including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), to maintain OFCCP compliant recruitment program
Maintain and compile data analytics for the Affirmative Action Plan
Assist with other HR tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:
3 to 6 years exclusively full cycle technical recruiting experience, including ATS experience
Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws
Excellent skills in all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-centric attitude and strong interpersonal skills
US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
May require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 15 pounds
Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Recruiting experience in a DoD environment
ATS experience in ADP
Broad knowledge of federally mandated HR statutes with special emphasis on those applicable to government contractors

Pay Range
Salary at SARA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA’s total compensation package for employees.
