Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks.
Assist with shop loading and work kit preparation.
Stock raw materials in appropriate quantities.
Clean and maintain equipment as directed.
Make sure workers and technicians have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks.
Serve as a liaison between manufacturing teams, production control, research and development, and engineering.
Assist shop managers, supervisors, leads, engineers, and quality as needed.
Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
Work safely around chemicals, compressed air, pneumatics, heavy machinery, etc.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with basic hand tools.
Capacity to analyze a situation and prioritize tasks.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
