A high-growth insurance company in the Rolling Meadows, IL area is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance Underwriter who wants to make a significant impact while growing their career. In this role, you will play a vital part in analyzing risk and assisting with underwriting policies. You will learn from experienced underwriters and gain valuable hands-on experience in the insurance industry.
Compensation: Starts at $70K (DOE) + benefits + opportunity for growth
Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois (on-site for first 90 days, then it will be hybrid)
What You Will Do
Manage risk portfolios, accurately and efficiently issue policies and endorsements, and ensure successful outcomes
Collaborate with the underwriting team to successfully make strategic decisions, streamline processes for optimal productivity and develop a cutting-edge underwriting program.
Deliver exceptional services while enhancing broker-partner relationships.
Consistently uphold the highest ethical standards and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
What You Will Bring
3+ years of underwriting experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector.
Versatility demonstrated through experience in the business's E&S, Admitted, or Brokerage sides.
A strong commitment to continuous learning and pursuing further development opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges and a track record of delivering results.
