This is a role born out of high growth, a high volume of upgrades and new build projects, against a number of facilities acquired over the last 2 years in the US. They are developing a multidiscipline CapEx Project Team.
Your Job, as Process Engineer IV, will play a key role in executing process-related deliverables for capital projects, identifying improvement opportunities through technical analysis, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.
This role requires a strong ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, taking the lead on process design to meet business, environmental, and safety objectives with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions
Write technical reports to document basis of design and/or justify recommendations
Develop project P&ID's and Process Flow Diagrams
Provide process data sheets for equipment and instrumentation
Data collection and review (equipment files, operating data, maintenance records, technical reports, industry standards, etc.) in support of deliverables
Qualifications
10 + years Process Design Engineering
Experience working in a production facility preferred
Knowledge of ANSI, OSHA, NFPA, ASME, API and other code and regulatory requirements.
Good analytical abilities and adept at problem solving. Presentation of calculations and results in an organized manner and orderly record keeping are necessary skills.
Expansive knowledge of the chemical industry and process engineering work processes
Education
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or a related field
